Here are two good resources for finding fee-only financial planners in your area: www.garrettplanningnetwork.com and www.napfa.org.

White Oak Financial Planning offers fee-only financial planning and advice on an as-needed project basis. Whether you are seeking help to develop and manage a lifelong financial plan, or consultation on a specific issue, our flexible needs-based model allows you to choose the level of service that's right for you.

Start the process today. Experience the peace of mind that comes from having a plan in place and using it as your framework for making informed financial decisions.

1. Initial Inquiry:

Review the information on this website to learn about us, and if our services appear to fit your needs, contact us for a no-obligation Get Acquainted Meeting.

Download and complete the Confidential Questionnaire. The information you provide on this questionnaire forms the foundation for our understanding of your financial life. Email, fax, or mail the completed questionnaire to our office so that it arrives at least 2 days prior to our scheduled Get Acquainted Meeting.

2. Get Acquainted Meeting:

The no-obligation Get Acquainted Meeting is an opportunity to exchange information about your needs and objectives and further discuss which of our services are right for you. This meeting typically takes 30-45 minutes. Following the meeting, we will provide you with an estimated fee quote. If you decide to engage our services, we will give you a list of additional data or information that we will need to begin formulating your customized financial plan.

3. Data Gathering & Initial Preparation:

Upon receipt of a signed Client Service Agreement, deposit, and the additional information requested, we will begin to review and develop your personal financial plan. We will prepare initial reports and may contact you to clarify your current situation, financial goals and objectives, and to discuss any additional questions or concerns.

4. Analysis & Plan Formulation:

We refine the information you have provided and study various plan scenarios. After concluding our research and analysis, we produce the final reports with our observations, assumptions, specific recommendations, and an action plan for implementation.

5. Presentation of Your Financial Plan:

Together we review your personal financial plan in its entirety, making sure that you fully understand the recommendations and instructions for implementation. You now hold your personalized blueprint, designed to help you meet your financial goals. You are empowered with specific recommendations to implement your financial plan. If you would like our help with plan implementation and follow-up, we can discuss continued service options that will fit your needs.

6. Financial Check-ups:

Our relationship doesn't end with each engagement. Just as someone thinks of going to their dentist or physician for regular checkups to maintain good dental and physical health, financial check-ups are essential to maintain good fiscal health. We can schedule periodic update meetings and reviews at whatever frequency is appropriate for you. We encourage you to contact us when questions arise.

Financial planning is an ongoing process, not a one-time event. Your life, the financial landscape, and market conditions are always changing. Proper implementation of a financial plan and periodic professional reviews are crucial to achieving your financial goals and fostering peace of mind.
